No. If your residence card carries the "dostęp do rynku pracy" (labour market access) annotation -- because your residence permit was granted for a reason other than work, such as full-time study, being a family member of a Polish/EU citizen, permanent residence, or EU long-term resident status -- you can change employers freely, with no amendment needed.

The deciding factor is the annotation actually printed on your card, not why you originally think you qualify. This is different from a temporary residence-and-work permit that names a specific employer, which does require an amendment for an employer change.
