## Short answer
Yes. During any pending administrative proceeding -- including a residence application -- you must notify the authority of every change of address, including an electronic address. This is a general duty under Art. 41 of the Code of Administrative Procedure (KPA), not specific to foreigners.

## What this depends on
There is no fixed number of days in the statute for this duty -- it is ongoing and should be acted on without delay ("niezwłocznie"), not treated as a countdown like some other deadlines in this toolkit.

## Important exception
If you don't notify the change, delivery of correspondence to your old address is still legally effective -- which can mean a case gets decided or closed without you finding out in time. This is a real, practical risk, not a technicality.
