## Short answer
Generally yes -- a parent or relative already living in Poland can sponsor a student's studies, similarly to a sponsor abroad, with evidence of their financial capacity and the relationship.

## Important exception
This is a separate question from family reunification specifically (joining a parent as a dependent under residence-permit rules), which has its own distinct legal basis and requirements. Sponsorship for visa/financial-means purposes and family reunification as your basis for residence are not the same thing -- don't conflate them.
