MOVED TO ANOTHER VOIVODESHIP
Does moving voivodeship put my deadline at risk?
No -- a case sent to the now-competent voivode keeps its original submission date. Here's how the transfer works, and what else moving means for your case.
Auranik provides administrative information, document-preparation tools and consulting support. We are not a government authority and do not make decisions on residence, work permits or visas.
Your deadline is protected
Moving voivodeship does not cause a missed deadline
When a foreigner with a pending immigration case moves to a different voivodeship, the case can be transferred to the voivode now competent for their new place of residence, without losing the benefit of the original submission date.
KPA Art. 65 -- general rule, not immigration-specific. In practice, voivodeship offices provide a specific request form for this (see voivodeship-case-transfer-request-form); submit it to either the old or new office so the file can be forwarded to the now-competent voivode.

Moving voivodeship is also an address change -- the general notification duty applies separately from requesting the case transfer. Go to the Change Address workflow.

Voivodeship offices provide a specific form for this. Submitting it (to either the old or new office) keeps your original submission date under KPA Art. 65, even though a different voivode becomes competent.

The case-transfer request itself is an official voivodeship form, not something Auranik recreates. Auranik’s Change Address letter generator covers the general address-notification piece; start an enquiry for help with the case-transfer request specifically.
